Ouena has completed housing improvement projects for dozens of Palestinian refugees and has helped house dozens of struggling families.
Our campaign for improved living conditions in the Gaza Strip has taken on many projects in the past year.
Ouena was among the first nonprofits mobilized on the ground in the Gaza Strip following the war in May of 2021. We distributed emergency aid to families that lost their homes. Our small grassroots nonprofit was able to provide hundreds of Palestinian families with aid to help cover their living expenses.
In the past, Ouena has also funded home improvement projects for dozens of refugee families. Everything from electrical work, to plumbing, roofing, and windows. Ouena has helped tens of refugee families complete the building and finishing of their homes.
Our nonprofit also works to provide struggling families with adequate living arrangements. Our volunteers work to locate struggling families that are either homeless or struggling to afford their rent. We help work to provide them with a place to stay.
